We are very proud of the money we have raised for Southeastern Guide Dogs as evidenced by our gallery of adult and puppy portraits. Many of the puppies have been named in recognition of the companies, artists, manufacturers, and collector's clubs that have supported the Fling. Without their participation,we would be no different than any other secondary market show. Some of the puppies have also been named to honor the memory of past friends for their contribution.
The gallery contains portraits of the dogs we have named, the person/company for whom the dog is named, the dog’s breed, and their current status. Definitions of their status follows:
Graduated -- working guide dog
Career Change -- better suited for a different type of work (i.e.,therapy dog)
Breeder -- used for breeding
In for training -- receiving formal training to be a guide dog
Puppy -- in puppy raiser homes
Retired - retired after giving years of mobility to their blind partners
Select a year to view the dogs we have named. The year represents the Fling the monies were collected.
